What We Do
Detailing a boat is similar to detailing a car. You want to keep both the exterior and interior of the boat well maintained in order to protect your boat’s value, as well as to safeguard it against damage. The sun’s UV rays can crack the paint, causing the seats to peel or bake in contaminants. Salt water can cause your components to rust, while fresh water can cause grime to build up and corrode your paint.
Dr. Sudz removes dirt, grime, contaminants from the air or water, and debris - all of which can wreak havoc on your boat. Leaving your boat clean but also the surface smooth! Why does this matter? Drag! Dr. Sudz will reduce drag when your boat is in the water and the less drag there is on your boat, the more efficient your fuel will be.

Dr. Sudz can help your boat look newer and perform better on the water. Detailing your boat will not only protect your paintwork but a clean boat puts less strain on the engine, helping to prevent it from clogging up. Regular maintenance means less possibility of damaging your hull. How, you ask? Simple! Less dirt build up means less corrosion, less stains and less cracks.
The general rule of thumb is to have your boat cleaned after every outing and wax applied at least every 4 months. We do not use regular dish soap to clean your boat as it will strip your boat’s wax. Without the wax sealant, your boat will quickly oxidize from the sun’s UV rays.
